Yup, blogging works. I've been getting prospective clients from the US and the UK, and I've received speaking engagements because of the blog. Blogging is much easier and a heck of a lot more fun than I thought it would be when I first started. I was afraid I wouldn't know what to write. But the truth is,what I take for granted about animal communication is considered 'specialized' knowledge by others. So I just write about what I know. Good luck on your blog!

Social bookmarking is not just about saving sites to view later. It's social bookmarking, meaning the intent is to share the sites you bookmark with others. That's the real purpose of social bookmarking and why it has turned into a great marketing tool. It does lead to sales if you do it right and you have the right content.

Yeah, that guy is an idiot and a fool. You present the case very well with clear points how this guy should not be giving online marketing advice.

Good points.I think social bookmarking has been a bit overrated. You will get a lot of traffic from it, but does the traffic convert into sales? Social bookmarking can be explained as the practice of saving bookmarks to a website and tagging with keywords. Bookmarking is simply saving a specific website address in your browser that you wish to visit later.

Great post!
In response to the specific need of managing one's reputation online, we’ve created www.lookuppage.com, an online tool that help you manage and control your online presence, and track who is looking for you. You can join for free, or opt in to our paid service and guarantee top position for your page across all leading search engines, using SEO and PPC.
As lookuppage is highly relevant to your post, I thought it's worth mentioning:)

Hope that helps!
